We finished up the happiest mural ever at Vilonia Elementary school yesterday! Had to paint a baby eagle for the baby eagles🦅
We have to share a pretty awesome story about this one. This mural was donated by the wife and young kiddos of Mr. Tim Sweeney, who passed recently, as a way to give back to the community that supported them during their unimaginable loss. Now, the absolute God Wink. When trying to come up with ideas to give back and find an artist, Mrs Sweeney saw one of our walls on Facebook that Tim’s oncology nurse shared. Come to find out, we painted two murals in his nurses home a few months back. How stinkin’ special is that! This one is SO close to our hearts. The family that thought to give in the midst of their grief, the happy design, the way God shows up to send messages from our people in heaven. Our hope is that when Mr Tim’s family and friends pass by this wall they are reminded of him.
Another note, we spent the last three days with some of the best admin, office staff, teachers and maybe even a turtle named Franklin🤪 We just have to say, if your kid goes to Vilonia Elementary they are BLESSED!
