We are so excited to welcome this group back! Our favorite events are those centered around the youth and building them into bright young adults.
First, we want to thank you all for your support as we have worked through all of the details and made plans for the future of this association. For everyone that has reached out, prayed, and spoken out in support of WKYLBRA….THANK YOU. One thing that is for sure is that God has been with us every step of the way and HIS plan is perfect.
We have been able to secure a new location for our rodeos at the Union County Expo Center in Sturgis, KY. For those that don’t know, this is where the association began and now we are coming home. One thing that I can tell you is that we are being welcomed with open arms and the community is excited to have us there. We are thankful beyond words to have found a place to continue with the season on such short notice. We did look at many options, but Sturgis just fell into place. We are excited for the future of WKYLBRA and think that this move will bring some new opportunities.
Our dates will need to be adjusted a little due to availability of the facility. Our new season dates are:
December 12 & 13
January 16 & 17 (tentative 3 rodeos this weekend)
February 13 & 14 (tentative 3 rodeos this weekend)
March 26 & 27 (Friday & Saturday – Easter weekend)
April 10 & 11
June 5 & 6 – tentative make -up
What you can expect this season is more family fun, lower membership fees, no ticket sales for fundraisers, and lots of fun. This facility is heated and cooled, has plenty of bleacher seating, hook-ups, and much more.
