What a special day at Clay on Steele!
Yesterday, our artist-in-residence Douglas Pendleton spent a wonderful afternoon at Ellen and Mark's beautiful pottery studio in Algoma. While everyone worked on their own creations, Ellen and Mark generously shared their expertise and tips with Douglas as he crafted two lovely vases and a bowl.

The afternoon was filled with good conversation, shared creativity, and the joy of working alongside fellow artists. Douglas' pieces will be fired and glazed right at Clay On Steele, and we couldn't be more excited to see the finished results!
Days like this remind us how blessed we are to be part of such a warm, talented, and giving arts community. Thank you, Mark and Ellen, for opening your studio and creating such a welcoming space for artists to work and learn together. This is what community is all about! ❤️

Figure & Form: Portrait Drawing Workshop with Douglas Pendleton

This exceptional studio, located in the charming Whitefish Bay lakeside community near Whitefish Dunes State Park in Door County, provides an inspiring environment for artistic development. Artist in Residence Douglas Pendleton will instruct this workshop designed for all ages and skill levels.

Only a few more events left in the residency! Make sure to attend this last workshop - this is an opportunity to learn from Douglas Pendleton in a focused workshop setting. Whether you attended the previous session or are joining us for the first time, you'll walk away with new skills in portrait drawing.

What to bring: Drawing supplies and paper/canvas. Some supplies will be provided, but we cannot guarantee we'll have everything for everyone, so please bring your own materials to ensure you can fully participate.

Admission is complimentary.
