At each Pay-What-You-Will performance, offered on the Wednesday prior to opening night, a portion of the proceeds received will be given to the community partner(s). Additional talkbacks with the organizations provide a unique opportunity to learn more about the intriguing and sometimes provocative themes explored in our productions and how it relates to the mission of each non-profit partner. We acknowledge that the land on which we gather today is the traditional homeland of the Menominee Nation. We pay our respects to the Elders, past and present, and to all of our Native relatives who have cared for this land for generations. They have a rich culture and history, and their relationship with the land is central to their identity. We acknowledge the Menominee people as the original inhabitants of this land and we respect their sovereignty. We also acknowledge the many other Indigenous peoples who have lived in this area over time. We are grateful to be able to live and work on this land and we commit to learning about and respecting the history and culture of the Indigenous peoples who have called it home for centuries.
