MEET YOUR TEACHERS

🤎 PAT TAYLOR — Founding Artistic Director/Choreographer of JazzAntiqua Dance & Music Ensemble. A jazz dance educator whose work centers the African American roots of jazz as a living, breathing tradition.

🤎 BERNARD BROWN — Dunham Technique teacher and Executive Artistic Director of bbmoves. Trained in the Africanist dance form created by pioneer Katherine Dunham, blending ballet, modern, and the dances of the African Diaspora.

🤎 STACEY STRICKLAND — Afro-Jazz instructor exploring the roots and intersectionality of African-based movement — Senegalese, Guinean, and beyond — within jazz dance technique.
