We know you’ve been waiting… and trust us, we have too! 🛠️💙

Hammer & Stain could have opened our doors a little sooner, but we made the decision not to rush something we’ve worked so hard to bring to our community.

Instead, we’ve been using these last few weeks to prep, organize, stock, create, and get the studio truly READY—because we’re heading straight into the busiest (and most FUN!) crafting season of the year. 🍂🎃🎄

We want you to walk through our doors and experience Hammer & Stain the way we’ve envisioned it—not halfway finished, not thrown together, but ready for all the creativity, laughter, parties, workshops, and memories we know are coming.

And now… IT’S ALMOST TIME. 👀

We’re getting ready to announce our FIRST OFFICIAL WORKSHOP CALENDAR for SEPTEMBER! 🎉

Fall projects. Girls’ nights. Date nights. Family fun. Open workshops. And plenty of opportunities to finally come see what we’ve been working on behind those doors!

September is going to be GOOD. 🛠️🍁

One of my biggest dreams for our studio has never been to offer “just another craft.” I want to create experiences that allow us to explore the artistry, traditions, and stories of cultures from around the world.

Our first stop? Japan. 🇯🇵

We’re excited to introduce Kinusaiga—a beautiful Japanese art form that creates stunning, quilt-like designs using fabric… without a single stitch! It’s relaxing, beginner-friendly, and every finished piece is truly one of a kind.

But we don’t want to stop there.

Over time, we’re planning to bring you workshops inspired by artistic traditions from countries across the globe—from Scandinavian folk art and Mexican tin art to Ukrainian egg decorating, African textiles, Italian mosaics, and so much more.

At Hammer & Stain Stuart, we believe creativity has no borders. Every class is an opportunity to learn something new, appreciate another culture, and create something beautiful with your own hands.

We’re bringing this unique, beginner-friendly workshop to the studio soon, where you’ll create beautiful designs on genuine leather using a heated tool. Think journals, bookmarks, earrings, keychains, and more—each one handmade by you.

It’s relaxing, creative, and unlike anything we’ve offered before. We can’t wait to share this experience with you!
