Front Porch Fest An annual music & arts gathering held on the front porch to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Stuart, VA.

The festival is produced by a group of family, friends and funsters inspired by the idea that life is enriched by art, with music at its soul. Lovers of music come together in an intimate outdoor setting where the distinction between artist and audience is blurred. Erin & The Wildfire started as four college kids in Charlottesville, Virginia making music just for fun, but has grown into a flourishing, decade-long musical relationship among four best friends. E&TW, who now call Virginia’s capital city of Richmond home, have evolved their sound over the past ten years to where it currently stands firmly in the soul and indie-pop genres, drawing influences from a wide range of artists including Emily King, D’Angelo, YEBBA, Vulfpeck, and Donny Hathaway.

Retro funk mob blends classic funk, conscious frenetic rap, a killer horn section, and a contagious enthusiasm for life that leaves people wondering what planet they came from. 🪐

Fun fact: Chris met the band in Harrisonburg as they were cementing themselves as one of the greatest original party bands to emerge from the early 2000’s JMU music scene.

🚗 Parking & Traffic Control
🛍️ Merchandise Sales
🍹 ABC (21+ Only)
👧 Kids’ Activities
🍽️ Kitchen & VIP Hospitality
🔨 Pre- & Post-Fest Crew
What You Need to Know:
✔️ Must be 16+
✔️ Commit to three 4-hour shifts (total 12 hours)
✔️ $75 refundable deposit (waived for returning volunteers)
