Nothing goes to waste in the studio.

After finishing these two eagle sculptures, we reclaimed nearly 100 pounds of clay. Before long, it will be reshaped into another wildlife sculpture, and the process will start all over again.

What animal would you like to see come out of this clay next?

Back in the studio, working on a new painting of sandhill cranes.

One thing I enjoy about painting is seeing the piece come together much more quickly than a bronze sculpture. I can spend a few sessions at the easel and watch it take shape, while a sculpture may take months or even years to reach its final form.

A look inside the studio at my latest project.

This sailfish sculpture is in the clay stage, and the details are starting to come together. It's not time for the lost-wax process yet, but I’m looking forward to seeing this one in bronze!

Breaking news - My work was featured in USA Today!

It is an incredible honor to see The Tree of American Dreams recognized and shared with a wider audience. Creating this monumental bronze for the Sansone Group and Legacy Park at Tradition has been deeply meaningful to me, not only because of the scale of the work, but because of what it represents: faith, family, community, country, and the enduring belief that dreams can take root and grow into something lasting.

As an artist, there is something especially powerful about bringing my skills together with the story of a community. Sculpture allows us to give permanence to the people, values, and legacies that shape a place. I am grateful to have been entrusted with creating a work that honors Anthony F. Sansone, Sr. and will stand as part of this community for generations to come.

Thank you to Kaila Jones ( ) and USA Today () for featuring this special project, and to everyone who helped bring The Tree of American Dreams to life.

Thank you so much! It was a fabulous project, and I am honored to be a part of this tribute!

Nature’s Rivalry

A week ago, I shared a look at this painting while it was still on the easel. Now the piece is finished, and you really feel the dramatic energy and excitement of the moment. A bald eagle and osprey crossed paths for only a few seconds, but the movement and rivalry of that encounter stayed with me long after I saw it.
