After everything our community went through yesterday, Matt and I have made the decision to cancel bingo Out of respect for the families and individuals affected by the tornado

We will still be open for bowling and arcade play for anyone looking to get out and spend time together.

Our hearts are with everyone affected. Please continue to check on your family, friends, neighbors, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Thank you for understanding.

Good morning! It has been brought to our attention that there is a social media post (or maybe several) telling people to bring donations to the Streator Fire Department.

1. We appreciate everyone’s desire to help. That is one of the BEST qualities of our community is its compassion and eagerness to be a part of the solution.

2. Right now we are NOT prepared to take donations. Our crews are busy protecting the city, conducting damage assessments, and all of the work that comes with recovering. Please do not overwhelm the fire department with phone calls and traffic for donations as we need to be able to focus on helping others.

3. There will be a time for donations. For specific details about what to donate and where stay tuned to Streator Mayor Tara Bedei. All directions will come from the Emergency Operations Center.

Thank you all so much. You are truly an incredible community.

Tonight was a reminder of just how quickly things can change.

Our thoughts are with everyone who was impacted by the tornado and severe weather. We know many families are facing a difficult day today.

Please take care of yourselves, check on your friends and neighbors, and stay safe as cleanup efforts continue. Allow the fire fighters, police, Comed, and other first responders to cleanup and assist.

Streator is a strong community, and
we’ll get through this together.

It was supposed to be dinner. But it looked too good to pass up

Our new Italian Beef topped with melted mozzarella and hot giardiniera, served with fries and au jus. IT IS HOTTTTT, my mouths burning…I think the cook was taking it out on me 🤣🤣

After a lot of people asking about it, it’s finally ready to go.

Through Thursday, June 11th, get the sandwich, fries, and a fountain drink for $16.25 + tax.

🔥 And yes… it tasted as good as it looks.

Some blasts from the past! Many different versions of automatic scoring over the years. Some much better than others but every so often there’s a great upgrade!
Personal favorite are the Brunswick keypads in the early 2000’s and 2010’s.
Which ones did you like? I bet our bowlers who have traveled to many places got some good photos

Week 4 standings are in for our Wednesday Summer Mixed Doubles League! 🎳

Team 8 is still holding down the top spot, with Gimp Squad right behind them and Team 9 sitting in 3rd.

Huge shoutout to this week’s top scores:

🔥 Jeff Kusnerick — 300 game and a monster 789 series
🔥 Will Roach — 278 game and 724 series
🔥 Michael Hagerstrom — 272 game

Also big shoutout to the ladies side with Marie Zeilman shooting a 266 and 716 series, and Marcia Smetanko going 247, 213, 244 for a 704 series!

I’ll be trying to get these standings posted online weekly as well. You’ll also be able to view them on LeagueSecretary.com.

Check out pages 2 and 3 too — that’s where you can see each bowler’s Game 1, Game 2, and Game 3 scores.

Great bowling everyone, see you next Wednesday! 🎳🔥

📸 This wasn’t supposed to be a menu photo.

It was supposed to be my lunch.

Our Jalapeño Burger with american cheese, bacon, and jalapeños. No special setup. No filters. Just real food coming out of our kitchen every day. (pS I added a fried egg)

🔥 And yes… it tasted as good as it looks. 🍔
