Hey everyone....so I am already thinking about next years Strattanville Homecoming and I would like to try and get more food trucks for next year. My goal is to have between 4 and 5 food trucks each day in 2027 and 2028.
2027 celebrates 100 years for the Strattanville American Legion Post 249 & Auxiliary Unit 249 and we plan to make this a bigger than normal celebration.
2028 celebrate the 200th Anniversary for the town of Strattanville. We have some big things that we are planning for this years event. One thing I can tell you is that we plan to bring the parade back for this celebration. We are going to have bands, performances, tons of kids activities. I would like to extend the craft show to the whole weekend and we have some many more ideas.

Please let me know if you are interested in being a food vendor or craft vendor for 2027 or 2028. Also throw out some ideas of what you would like to see add to Strattanville Homecoming over the next couple of years.

Homecoming is only a little over a week away. Join us Friday night for the pinball tournament and fireworks presented by Boomville Fireworks. Homecoming Committee will be selling Sausage sandwiches, macaroni salad, nachos & cheese, and sloppy joes at the firehall on Friday evening and Saturday.

We look forward to having the 30 Pack Assassins -Minibike Racing with us on Saturday along with Rough Woods Pizza LLC.

Make sure to stop up at the firehall for the Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle. The Wild Laurel Cloggers will be performing at 1pm at the firehall, the Strattanville Vol. Fire Co. will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs and other good food in Clark's field during the minibike races. Bands will start playing at noon on the stage located in Clark's field.

Sunday is a day full of activities....Knight Cruisers car show located in the Strattanville American Legion Post 249 parking lot and Washington Street. At the firehall you can check out the craft and vendor show, grab some food provided by the Strattanville Vol. Fire Co. Auxiliary or by Fox's Smoke Wagon. Bring the kids to enjoy bounce house, Charlie the Jester, face painting and carnival games with some amazing prizes.

Couple updates:
Sunday is the last day to preorder sweatshirts. I have to give them my final total so we make sure they are done before homecoming.

We are still looking for donations for the Chinese auction on Saturday if anyone is interested in donating! Please let me know and I can pick it up or arrange to get it.
