🚨 **ATTENTION – INTAKES TEMPORARILY CLOSED** 🚨

**WE ARE COMPLETELY FULL.**

Not "almost full." Not "getting close." Completely. Full.

There is ZERO extra space. No empty kennels. No emergency kennels. No spare rooms. If there is a square foot available, an animal is already using it.

Just in a few hours yesterday, we took in dogs from an emergency neglect case through law enforcement, a dog that had been kept alive on only alcohol and arrived severely dehydrated, and a puppy thrown from a moving vehicle, adding to the already 449 animals in our care.

Emergency calls are coming in at one of the highest rates we've seen. It is bad, folks.

Right now, we're bottlenecked. We have amazing adoptable dogs waiting in foster homes because there isn't an open kennel, and dogs waiting for foster homes because all of our fosters are full. Every animal waiting means another emergency may have nowhere to go.

To help create space, we're holding an Adoption Special beginning NOW through July 18.

Cats (5+ months): $20
Dogs (5+ months): $35

Our adoption process has NOT changed. Lower adoption fees do NOT mean lower standards. Every animal is matched to the home that best fits their individual needs.

**A quick note because we know this question will come up: If you were previously denied for a specific dog or cat, that does not mean you'll be denied for every animal. Different pets have different requirements. For example, some dogs need a fenced yard while others do not.

However, some requirements apply to **everyone**. Resident pets must be current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (unless medically exempt), and we do not place dogs into homes where they will live exclusively outdoors or roam freely without containment.
