The Music Never Stops🎶🎙️

This year 9 incredible local artists will make their Spruce Peak Arts debut on our Acoustic stage. This space sits opposite of the WhistlePig Pavilion at the back of the green and as soon as an act on the main stage ends, the artist will pass it over to the Acoustic stage to keep the tunes rolling.

Come stop by the green, listen to a song, have a conversation with a neighbor. We promise you’ll leave inspired🌟

We’ve got some Homegrown films for you this weekend🎬

🎞️Stowe Story Labs in partnership with Spruce Peak Arts will screen a short and a feature on Sunday September 6 at 6:30

THE BOY WITH THE DINOSAUR HEAD is an award-winning short film. It was written by Ali Imran Zaidi and made with a Stowe Story Labs Curated Short Film Production Grant. The film, still on its outstanding festival run, is about an unruly boy and his teacher.

DEFINITELY GANGSTER is the inaugural feature film written and directed by phenomenal filmmaker and Stowe Lab Alum JLee MacKenzie. It is a family-friendly motion capture film. JLee made this beautiful film in Vermont and it too is just starting its screening journey. As he says, it is “a DIY motion capture animated feature film, which is unusual to make in VT, and a non-traditional way to get a movie made.”

🎥🍿All are welcome to this free screening Sunday night to celebrate these artists and their stories and stay for a Q&A with JLee! For more info on the films and to sign up for the screening, head to sprucepeakarts.org

Homegrown is all about Community🎶

We are so excited to welcome back to the stage some faces you may have seen last year or on our stage throughout the years. The Homegrown in Vermont Music Festival is one of the many opportunities we strive to create in support our local community. The audience always has a blast with the artists, but the show is equal if not more special to the musicians themselves.

Part of our Homegrown 2026 lineup is local Burlington band, Good Gravy 🌼

Members Joe Angelo, Jeff Wilson, and Jack Avignon’s pay homage to traditional bluegrass legends, while also maintaining a contemporary approach to the genre in their music 🎵

Meet Grace Palmer🌿

We’re thrilled to welcome back Grace Palmer to kickoff the Homegrown in Vermont Music Festival!🌼
We first met Grace when she opened for Rosanne Cash this past March, as part of our Homegrown in Vermont initiative. With a sharp wit, her authenticity and artistry instantly captivated our audience!
Her songwriting uses her powerhouse vocals to talk about climate and social justice. With songs like “No Private Jets” and Tourin the USA”, Palmer puts a hilarious- and at times, sobering- spin on current events. She closes out each show with big dancing songs that have a feel-good message and catchy tunes you’ll be humming all the way home!🎶
🌟Support her alongside 20+ other local music artists on Saturday, September 5th, beginning with Grace at 12pm
