We have just submitted more material to our archives, which have been placed in Kent State University's Library. The material contains copies of several OhioDance Newsletters in which Leaven Dance Company was sited.

Please say a prayer that the new attempt I am making to get the Vatican to change the bad description of liturlgical dance they made in 1975 and to get our U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops to officially approve of liturgical dance in our country.

I will soon be starting another attempt to get the Vatican to change the awful description of lliturgical dance they made in 1975 (and have not addressed it again since then....and to get our U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops to give official approval of liturgical dance. Please pray for us that this goes through!

I am about to give another try to the Advocacy effort. I will soon be sending material to the USCCB to get them to officially give approval to the use of dance in the liturgy. Pope Francis has recently said that more things should be determined by each country according to its culture, rather than by the Vatican's Congregation of Divine Worship and theDiscipline of the Sacraments. Maybe now our bishops (USCCB) will stop saying that since dance in liturgy is a cultural issue it must, therefore, be approved by the Vatican, not by the USCCB! Please say a prayer that it gets approved by our bishops!

We'll soon be starting another advocacy effort to get the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to officially approve dance in the liturgy. If you have a moment please say a prayer that we're successful this time!
