Carved this Fella today.
Started with a crazy-split piece of Basswood.
This popped up on my personal page as a six year memory.
First Fella I ever cut, and the sexiest workbench ever.
A little over two weeks away!
I’ll be carving, and have some pieces for sale.
Hope to see YOU there!
This monster of a Fella left last night for his new home in a new, BITCHIN’ outdoor Tiki Oasis that gets christened Friday night with a big bash.
Short deadline, and a false start made for some interesting moments, but myMAN Roger was really happy with the carve.
A little under 3’ of of black walnut.
Thanks Roger!
An unusually cold, wet Saturday night, late Spring.
Hanging by the orange tv with the Gorgeous Twins, big middle fingers to NE Ohio’s abuse.
Without pre-thought, grabbed this bent piece 0’ ash, threw it into the fire, then ran to the house for a mallet and a couple of cheap chisels. Listening to the voices of two of my most BELOVED SOULS, great music, and my own tap-taps, I made a pile of wood chips
and this Guy.
PERFECT setting for a return.
Thank you for lookin’!
Hey Kids!,
Trust ALL is GREAT with YOU.
Just blew the dust off this page, and confirmed my thought that it has, in fact, been OVER TWO YEARS since I did anything Tiki.
Long story short;
THANKS and LOVE to
the BEAUTIFUL SOULS that I am BLESSED to have in my Life for the encouragement, I’m “back”
hu***ng at one of my favorite legs.
Another big hug to all the Folks that liked my stuff during the hiatus, Thank YOU.
Ive hacked away at a couple hunks o’ wood recently, I’ll post those soon.
AHIIHA will be participating in a BITCHIN’ event in Parma on July 17, that info coming soon, as well.
Thank YOU to ALL!
Geoff
Let’s Rock!
THIS panel has been around for a while.

AHIIHA’s CFO said...
“too much color in the stuff right now”.
Prude, I mean DUDE, has a rotary black-and-white cell phone
with a nine
coat-hanger (tastefully done) antenna.
The Gorgeous Twins said...

Work has halted on this big ol’ piece o’ ash for a couple of days, but I’m diggin’ it.
First guy of ‘19 with the
two-stroke beaver.
20”h x 6”d
Moai with a sweet
“Stay gold, Pony-boy” finish.
SW FLA trip earlier this month celebrating Bionic Spouse’s new gams.
Travelled with chisels, and got to dig into palm for the first time, a little unpredictable, but a lot of fun.
A hopeful glimpse into the future, carving
on the beach.
Big tattooed NEO Moai commissioned for a Christmas 2018 present. Sweet, deep aquamarine finish.
Carving is fun.
Taking photos, and posting on social media is not.
End of carving season 2018 was a whirlwind of activity and loss, culminating at TU Flea 3, with a live carve raffled for Wounded Warriors, and in that time, some items were skipped.
The following is a quick rewind.
Oh, and...
Set up and rollin’!
dig IT!
Get yer bucket out to this event, and add some more cool to your life.
#31 Fran. Redux.
Planed him down, tattooed him up, and gave him the lava treatment.
Road Rash Bash Raffle Tiki.

Thinking about hanging him so he spins.
‘Preciate ya eyeballin’ it!

Had a Home before I even found the wood.
Renea and I dig it, hope YOU do.

Waiting on a thick Spar finish.

Sorry Todd.

#60. Siesta Key Turtle.
My Beautiful Mom is taking this one to Port Charlotte.
Thanks for your consideration!
#59. First of the last three of what my Beautiful Friend Judy named the Siesta Key Turtles.
Already has a new home in Florida.
Thanks for checking it out.
I am a blessed Fella #3.
Carving is a pretty solitary activity, and no matter how happy I am with a finished piece, there is always an element that bothers me. THEN you wonder if said idol will be accepted by anyone.
In a nutshell:
“I’m not totally happy with this guy, and everyone is gonna think it sucks”
Then there are these moments - someone comes along, digs a piece, and gives it a new home.- the sky clears, the waves are great, and your face hurts from smiling so much.
Thank you Telericos!
Thank you Judy!
Thank you Linda!
Thank you Buzz!
Thank you BEAUTIFUL young Family who’s name I didn’t get!
Together, we turned a hunk of wood that would have either rotted, or been burned into something that I hope you enjoy for a long time.
I am a blessed Fella #2.
Had the whole AHIIHA Tiki Family throw down for me yesterday.
The Gorgeous Twins represented the display with beauty, style, grace, (offsets the knuckledraggin’ savagery of me and offspring) and their knowledge of my stuff is such that I was unnecessary.
Thank you and I love you Ladies.
I am a blessed Fella #1.
This is the CFO of AHIIHA Tiki.
He is Bullet Train hustle and Grizzilla muscle.
He is the brains and the face, because I’m not either one.
Dude carried the load and ran the show.
Thank you and I love you myMAN!
#51. Ty. Simple with mask.
Funny, the cycle...
Really liked the idea, kinda accepted the cut, HATED the finished piece.
This one, was to quote Pinhead “this is NOT for your eyes”.
BEAUTIFUL FRIEND sees it, loves it.
Who am I to argue with a beautiful woman?
#56. Brucie.
Shark idol holding a skull.
Can’t catch the way sunlight dances through the wood grain, and aqua-marine stain with this phone.
Nice, glossy coat of Spar, can’t wait to see pictures of this guy in five years.
21”h x13”d.
As an added bonus, there is a special color that I hope I never match again in him.
Thanks fer checkin’ ‘im out.
