This looks like a crazy photo, but hear me out! I tell people all the time to “trust the process”. Every painting goes through an “ugly phase”. It’s usually in the last 5~10 mins that the painting comes together and turns beautiful! My favorite part of parties is seeing everyone as they see what all those steps created and how the final steps tied it all together.
So all that to say, here’s my “ugly phase”. My husband was definitely giving this one the side eye. (And don’t mind the kitchen counter. Totally acceptable to paint and cook at the same time. 🤣 I was in the creative zone! 🤣)
