Warm rusty browns of every shade appear in the burr oak leaves as they cling to the branches late into the year. Once the snow flies these are usually the only leaves to still be hanging on tight. They provide that eerie rattle as the wind blows through them on those cold October nights, setting the stage perfectly for some spooky trick-or-treating!
