On loan this summer is Peonies (1973) by Fairfield Porter. This painting from the Benton’s collection is featured in Fairfield Porter: What Everyone Knows, which brings together over 35 works by the artist.

The Benton’s sold-out Horsebarn Hill Walking Tour with UConn professors Robert Thorson and Janet Pritchard made for a fun evening. Participants explored geology and landscape photography on the hill in conjunction with the exhibition, Raid the Archive: New Eyes on Horsebarn Hill.
