As rehearsals for Carrie: The Musical are well underway, we would like to introduce you to the brilliant minds making such an unforgettable prom night happen!

Raegan Sedlarcik is a graduate from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She studied theatre at Mount Royal University in her hometown of Calgary, Canada. Raegan is the former owner and instructor of Hudson Valley Aardvarks, where she shared her passion for music and performance with young artists. She has been active in local theatre both on stage and behind the scenes for many years, and is excited to return to the role of director once again for Carrie: The Musical!

Amy Emerson is a fixture at White Pond Community Arts who primarily concerns herself with the fixtures! She holds degrees in physics and education, and works as a Home Instructor and the Drama Club Advisor at Carmel High School. She has been part of the WPCArts family for the past thirteen years, where she serves as the Technical and Administrative Director.

Their hard work, dedication, and creative visions make our programs the most THRILLING! We can't wait to see what they bring to the stage this January... 🔪🩸

Actors in Matilda Jr. have been hard at work learning their lines. While memorizing isn't always the most exciting part of being in a show, they sure look like they are having fun doing it!

Actors in our workshop of Carrie: The Musical circled up to read through the entire script, front to back. It was a great opportunity to get to know the songs, the book, and the cast as we get ready to stage this scream-worthy production.

While our Fall 2026 Workshops are well underway, we wanted to make sure you stay in the know this season. Let's see what's been happening at 275 White Pond Road...

Our youngest actors have been groovin' to the swing, and it seems like everybody wants to be a cat! They take the stage the weekend of December 11-13th, bringing a jazzy energy to a heartwarming tale of adventure in Aristocats: Kids Edition.

Fan-favorite Matilda Jr. is back at White Pond Community Arts, and our middle grade students are already hard at work making sure they look absolutely REVOLTING! Performances will be held the weekend of January 15-17th, and this will be a show you won't want to miss.

Finally, our talented teen actors are taking revenge to a new level with Carrie: The Musical. They are bringing the rock energy and a SCARY good performance to the stage the weekend of January 22-24th.

Stay tuned for events, rehearsal updates, and more fun coming your way this fall at White Pond Community Arts!
