🎶✨ Meet the Student Pit ✨🎶

The magic of The Little Mermaid wouldn’t be complete without the incredible musicians in our Student Pit.

While the action happens on stage, these talented students are hard at work bringing the score to life by setting the mood, building excitement, and supporting every vocal moment. From the first note of the overture to the final curtain call, they help tell the story through music.

Their focus, preparation, and teamwork are essential to each performance. We are so proud of the dedication they’ve shown throughout rehearsals and performances.

Our production of The Little Mermaid is extra special this year thanks to the talented young performers who help bring our world under the sea to life.

These students, in grades 1st through 6th, add energy, heart, and excitement to every scene they are a part of. Whether they’re creating movement on stage, filling out big musical numbers, or reacting to the action around them, they play an important role in making the show feel full and alive. We’re so proud of the commitment they’ve shown and the joy they bring to the stage.

The many, many costumes in The Little Mermaid help bring our underwater world and seaside kingdom to life and none of it would be possible without our Costume Crew.

This team works behind the scenes, helping with costumes for every performer. They handle quick changes, small repairs, and all the details that help our cast feel comfortable and confident on stage.

Their hard work, organization, and steady presence backstage play a huge role in keeping each performance running smoothly.

They problem-solve in real time, hit cues with precision, and make sure every scene change flows seamlessly. The audience may not always see them, but their fingerprints are on every moment of the show.

The magic under the sea doesn’t just happen; it’s created by an amazing group of hardworking students behind the scenes. We would be lost without them!

And it’s not just Ariel making waves! From dazzling Mersisters to quirky Gulls, graceful Princesses to brave Sailors, this talented group brings the world under the sea (and above!) to vibrant life.

These talented performers are bringing heart, humor, and showstopping vocals to the Lakeview Stage!

Lakeview High School Theatre will be making a splash with our production of The Little Mermaid! Curtain opens at 7:00 PM on March 5 and 6; a matinee performance will be Saturday, March 7 at 2:00 PM. Based on the beloved Disney film and featuring music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, this magical under-the-sea adventure tells the story of Ariel, a curious young mermaid who dreams of exploring the human world. With unforgettable songs like “Part of Your World” and “Under the Sea,” dazzling costumes, and incredible student talent both on stage and behind the scenes, this production is full of heart, humor, and high-energy performances.

Join us in the Lakeview High School auditorium for an unforgetabble experience. Bring your family and friends and come support our amazing students as they bring this classic story to life.
