The “foot” update. Well the foot is gone in a below the knee amputation. DIABETES is a nasty disease. Take care of yourself and your body and start right now.
The foot is KIA as of AUG 23, goodbye old friend. You served me well for many years.
I am not gonna say it has been easy. Physically, it has been “1” of the hardest things I have had to endure.
Anyway on with the facts.
Amputation was Aug 23.
PT and OT start the day after, how fun!
Pain has been unbearable. I have lived on morphine oxycontin and dilaudid. Never thought I would b asking for that stuff.
Anyway I will leave in next couple of days for rehab. I will be there probably for 2-4 weeks and then go home. I appreciate all the prayers and kind thoughts and well wishes everyone sent my way. They brighten up my day😎😷🦵
