Went back to Procreate for days 8 and 9 of . I still can't get over how much it feels like physically drawing on paper with the update.

I combined days 8 and 9, which are lightning lad and undead. So, here is an undead lightning lad! 💁🏻‍♀️✨️

I couldn't decide between picture 1 with all layers or picture 3 with my last layer hidden. That's one thing I love about Procreate is I can try whatever on different layers and take it away if I want. Anyway, let me know what you prefer! 👻

Okay, so I got behind the past few days of , so I combined October 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th's prompts.

Day 3! "WITCH!" was the prompt for today's .

I went digital today, and HOLY MOLY Procreate's update with it's updated brushes is WILD. It literally feels and acts like your drawing and painting on paper. I love it, but I did have to go back and forth for the effects I wanted between the classic brushes and the updated brushes.

Day 2 of is "My Familiar." Of course, my Hali girl will forever be my familiar. ✨️ I gave her some bat wings, and her own froggy witch companion.

I was going to add some color, but the further I got along in the process, the more I liked it with pencil only. Maybe I'll load it into Procreate one day and play around with some color digitally. 💁🏻‍♀️

It's been awhile in general since I posted here, but even longer since I've done ! 2021 to be exact 😅.

Sometimes I need to remind myself that I can just draw (and do artsy things in general) just for fun.

Here's to spooky season, slowing down (for real), and doing whatever the heck I feel like art-wise. 🎃

Today's prompt is "Spooky Intro." I drew spooky-me in a cute spooky pumpkin, with some of the cute spooky things I like. Fun fact--I HATE eating candy corn, but I find them cute AF lol. 👻✌🏼

My husband grew up going to a beach called Stone Harbor. I had driven through there, but never stayed there until I met him. Needless to say I fell in love with the place. PSA-NEVER take a trip there without going to the BEST ice cream place in existence— 🍦!

There is a vacation convent there named Villa Maria, and sometimes the nuns staying there will surf. The locals call it “Nuns Beach”, and there’s shirts made every year with different designs.

My husband thought of getting a tattoo of a surfing nun holding an ice cream cone in honor of his memories of Stone Harbor. So, I drew it 💁🏻‍♀️. Of course, the ice cream cone is from Springer’s, and surf board is from 🏄‍♀️.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy, and I hope it brings a smile to your face even if you’ve never been to Stone Harbor. 💛✨
