Silent Grove Haunt

Silent Grove Haunt Creating neighborhood haunts since 2021 and bringing the community together...huddled in fear! We learned a lot that year.

We are a group of friends and family that share a passion for halloween and scary things.
501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization We are a group of friends and family that love halloween and scary things. We first got together in 2021 and created a haunted house on the side yard of a house with a temporary structure. We changed locations to a 3-car garage and created our first themed haunt in 2022. We

had so much fun we decided on another theme for 2023. Our plans are to continue with a new theme every year and grow bigger and better!

A special shout out to Jim and Dori Dennis for their incredible work this year! This was Dori’s first year volunteering with us and she was a great “dinner guest”. Jim was one of our prisoners last year. This year he was responsible for guarding our queen! We are so happy to work with both of them!

Andrew Contreras offered tarot card readings to our patrons this year. His skills and insight added a mysterious presence to our haunted castle. He is also very creative and is helping to plan for next year…🔪🔪🔪

Zach’s costumes are something to look forward to all year and this year he didn’t disappoint! He was a HUGE help with managing the line. He was also part of the build and take-down of our castle’s great hall. Looking forward to next year!

Shout out to Jason Fisher who, once again, did a fantastic job of welcoming guests into our haunted house. This year he was escorting peasants through the great hall of the castle. He also helped with some of tear-down, which most haunters would agree is the least desirable of all the tasks.

Debbie Garner fulfilled the role of queen this year. She was also able to find some props, like the gargoyles and wine barrels, that really added a special touch to our castle. We are so thankful for her active participation!

Julie Ann Sanchez did a fantastic job of guarding the bridge this year and assisting our guests as Joan of Arc. She also worked hard painting some of the brick walls. She brings a creative energy to Silent Grove Haunt that we are so thankful for!

These three ladies were amazing! Sophia Michaleto worked in the market, helped with the new electronic waivers and applied makeup to actors. Kylie McLean-Salazar was our sleeping Princess who warned about the dragon, played by Jasmin. Silent Grove Haunt is so glad to have this kind of talent!

We are grateful to have Gretchen M Larson as part of our team as well! This year she was helping out in the market. She spent hours knitting the hats and scarves we had for sale. She was even trusted to watch over a couple little ones while their parents had an audience with thy majesty.

Max and Zachary came through again! From prison inmates last year to a knight and dungeon peasant this year. They also helped build the bridge and a couple of stocks. Silent Grove Haunt is so thankful for the continued support and enthusiasm from both of these young men. Makes you wonder what they’ll be up to next year…🔪🩸

In the season of giving thanks and being grateful…we would like to recognize Cory W McLean for his contributions to Silent Grove Haunt. Cory has been the primary builder of our haunts. There wasn’t a wall of our castle this year that he didn’t put up. In addition to his hard work and flexibility when plans change, he provided support to the actors and filled in where necessary. He is an essential part of Silent Grove Haunt and we are so glad to have him as part of our team!
