DUAL AT DELTA BRINGS DIRT TRACK ACTION TO STOCKTON THIS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (September 2, 2026) – Labor Day Weekend gets dirty in Stockton on Saturday and Sunday with the annual Dual at Delta Speedway for Micro Sprints. The 1/7th mile track at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds presents two complete nights of points racing action, serving up Super 600, Non-Wing, A-Class, Restricted, and Jr. Sprints racing.

The drivers meeting is set for 4:30pm nightly with hot laps to follow. Spectator gates open at 5pm. General Admission tickets are just $10 for adults while juniors ages 6-12, seniors, and military are $5, and kids 5 & under are FREE! Pit passes are $25.

Fans who cannot attend the action in person can view flag-to-flag coverage on Fast Four Media, the speedway’s 2026 Pay-Per-View partner.

Nikko Panella of Stockton is inching ever closer to sweeping the Super 600 and Non-Wing championships again in 2026, increasing his points lead during the summer rounds of the season. His Super 600 advantage has grown to 21 markers over former champion Logan Trevino of Madera. Raio Salmon of Fresno – driver of car no. 21 – is tied with Trevino for second in the order. Despite a victory in round seven, Nikko’s older brother Alex remains in fourth in the championship with Andrew Smith in fifth.

The Non-Wing battle, one of the toughest at Delta, sees Panella enjoy an even larger lead of 30 points. Panella’s two wins have lifted him ahead of TK O’Brien of Manteca. Brody Rubio of Manteca runs third followed by Stockton’s Ty Carlson and Manteca’s Briggs Davis.

Both the Super 600 and Non-Wing compete in 30-lap features on both nights of the Dual at Delta.

Levi Osborne of Tracy and O’Brien are tied for the stock A-Class championship. Osborne has one win while O’Brien is still pursuing a 2026 A-Class triumph. Wheatland’s Cole Frerichs has drifted to 37-points behind in third ahead of Colin Kirby of Pleasanthill and Jason Maples of Petaluma. The A-Class feature is a 25-lap affair each night this weekend.

Maya Mauldin of Rancho Murieta leads the Restricted battle also on the strength of a lone victory. Her cushion is 31 points over Haven Sherman of Citrus Heights. Bryson Sozinho of Hanford is just one points behind in third. Cash Brooks of Galt and Kevin Tiffanen of Kingsburg are rookie drivers rounding out the top-five. Restricted competes in 25-lap features.

Lucas Fenn of Oakley leads Santino Gonella by ten points in the Jr. Sprints. Fenn’s brother Logan is third in the standings ahead of this weekend’s 20-lap races.

HEIMLICH AND RANUIO EARN FIRST CAREER DELTA SPEEDWAY WINS

STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (August 16, 2026) – Oakley’s Jarrett Heimlich and Stockton’s Alex Ranuio led the action on Saturday night on the dirt at Delta Speedway, with both earning their first career Delta wins in their Micro Sprints. The seventh round of racing on the 1/7th mile dirt track featured five divisions competing. Photos by Denise Dell Photography

The Non-Wing competition led the pits with 24 entries and recent California “hot-hand” TK O’Brien leading time trials. Ty Carlson, Isabel Barnes, and Keith Bloom, Jr. won the heat races. Bloom and Heimlich shared the front row for the 30-lap night cap but Heimlich immediately took control. Heimlich rolled the top side consistently well, driving through lapped traffic in the non-stop affair. Heimlich prevailed for the coveted breakout win followed by Bloom, Austin Stone, points leader Nikko Panella, and Brody Rubio of Manteca.

“I don’t have much experience being up front and lapping people so I was definitely a little nervous getting by them,” Heimlich said. “It’s been a long time coming. Hoping this day would come. I can’t do it without everyone behind us!”

Stockton’s Alex Ranuio had a career performance in Restricted, earning his first career victory as well. The wire-to-wire win was also Ranuio’s lone top-five or top-ten finish of the year in ten starts in California. The standout performance saw Ranuio drive away from Idaho’s Bryce Tomassi over several restart attempts. Cash Brooks scored his second consecutive podium finish in third followed by July winner Maya Maulin and Hanford’s Bryson Sozinho.

A rejuvenated Restricted class in 2026 had 23 entries. Connor Penix topped time trials before also winning the first heat race. Blake Bookout and Maycie Brooks won the other heats.

Wheatland’s Cole Frerichs won his second A-Class race of the season, prevailing in the 25-lap feature. Sacramento’s Jackson Kohler held off Super 600 and Non-Wing points leader Nikko Panella through the first eight circuits. Frerichs then took it to the top side, passing both Panella and Kohler in successive laps to take the lead. Frerichs led Panella over the final 15 circuits with Kohler falling back to third. Points leader Levi Osborne and round six winner Lucas Mauldin of Rancho Murieta rounded out the top-five.

Alex Panella dominated the winged Super 600 action with his second victory of the season in the 20-lap feature. Panella accumulated a lead of over two seconds above his younger brother Nikko with Raio Salmon of Fresno finishing third. Logan Trevino and Jeffrey Rosas finished fourth and fifth.

Lucas Fenn of Oakley won from the pole to extend his Jr. Sprints points lead. Santino Gonella finished second and Joseph Wattenbarger ran third. Dylan Smith and Fenn snared the heat races.

Delta Speedway hosts the exciting Dual at Delta on September 5 and 6 during Labor Day Weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday are complete points races as the championship battles near their crescendo in Stockton.

Alex Panella and Andrew Smith round out the top-five heading into Saturday’s 30-lap affair.

Panella’s cushion is larger in Non-Wing with a 27-point lead over Manteca’s TK O’Brien. O’Brien has won just once at Delta Speedway this year but has six wins in Non-Wing down south as one of the strongest drivers in the class. Young Gun Brody Rudio ranks third followed by Stockton’s Ty Carlson and Manteca’s Briggs Davis. Non-Wing also competes for 30-laps.

Levi Osborne of Tracy has a narrow four-point lead over the busy driver TK O’Brien. O’Brien is still searching for a 2026 A-Class win at Delta Speedway. Colin Kirby of Pleasant Hill has six top-ten finishes for third in the championship. Wheatland’s Cole Frerichs has a win and four top-fives in 2026 to run fourth overall. Jason Maples runs fifth in the order ahead of a 25-lap feature.

LUCAS AND MAYA MAULDIN SCORE WINS AT DELTA SPEEDWAY

STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (July 26, 2026) – For the third time this season, Delta Speedway in Stockton played host to a pair of siblings visiting victory lane with Lucas Mauldin in A-Class and his sister Maya Mauldin in Restricted claiming wins on the 1/7th mile dirt track on Saturday night. TK O’Brien scored his first Delta Speedway Non-Wing win of the season as well. Photo by Bob Messer

The A-Class action for a 25-lap feature rolled off 18 entries with the 2022 Restricted champion Lucas Mauldin rolling off third. Dash Duinkerken led most of the feature with Mauldin in pursuit through lapped traffic. Mauldin snared the top spot at the line coming to the white flag and led the final circuit, grabbing the win. Levi Osborne of Tracy finished third followed by Evan Dixon and TK O’Brien.

Kyle Fernandez was the top A-Class qualifier before heat races were won by Dixon and Cole Frerichs.

In Restricted, Maya Mauldin of Rancho Murieta was perfect on each restart to drive to victory int the 25-lap affair. Blake Bookout drove into second place before a flip ended his race early. Mauldin topped Cash Brooks, Rowdy Medina, David Anderson, and Bryce Tomassi at the finish. Mauldin topped the outstanding 24 car field in time trials. Tomassi, Bryson Sozinho, and Bookout won the heat races. Tatum Kreigel won the B-Main.

TK O’Brien of Manteca completed a coveted charge to a Delta Non-Wing win in 2026, methodically working from ninth on the grid to win Saturday’s 30-lap feature. O’Brien drove into second place on lap 21 over Vito Celli then turned his attention to race leader and points leader Nikko Panella of Stockton. Panella had a straightaway advantage as the leaders ran the high line around lapped traffic. Coming into turn one on the final circuit, Panella slowed on the cushion which allowed O’Brien to soar into the lead.

TK O’Brien claimed the victory with Celli coming through for second. Panella settled for third over Briggs Davis and Ty Carlson. Panella led qualifying while O’Brien Brody Rubio, and Jarrett Heimlich won the heat races.

Nikko Panella won his fifth Delta Speedway feature of the year and second consecutive in the Super 600 action in a 25-lap feature. Panella won from the pole over former champion Logan Trevino of Madera, Alex Panella, Raio Salmon, and Jeffrey Rosas. Nikko Panella won the heat race while Logan Trevino led the time trials.

Santino Gonello won the 20-lap Jr. Sprint feature from the pole position. Lucas Fenn finished second followed by Logan Fenn, Dylan Smith, and Kyle Farrow as the top-five finishers. Gonella and Smith were the heat race victors.

STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (July 21, 2026) – Race six of the 2026 Micro Sprint championship season at Stockton’s Delta Speedway brings five divisions of racing to the dirt on Saturday night July 25. Race fans will be treated to the battles in the Super 600, Non-Wing, A-Class, Restricted, and Jr. Sprints on the 1/7th mile oval at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds.

The drivers meeting is set for 4:30pm on Saturday with hot laps to follow.

The Winged Super 600 battle continues to be a close one with multi-time champion Nikko Panella of Stockton using two wins to drive to a narrow four-point advantage. Raio Salmon of Fresno is in proximity and a victory on Saturday night could change the complexion of the title hunt quickly. Former Super 600 champion Logan Trevino of Madera is well within striking distance in third followed by Andrew Smith and Alex Panella.

Nikko Panella also leads the Non-Wing battle with two wins there as well. Brody Rubio of Manteca is 19-points out of the lead in second followed by Manteca’s TK O’Brien. Stockton’s Ty Carlson has had a successful transition from full-time pavement racing to the dirt in fourth in the standings with Briggs Davis of Manteca running fifth.

Both Super 600 and Non-Wing compete in 30-lap features at each Delta speedway points race in 20226.

TK O’Brien has been the busiest driver at Delta Speedway, taking on three classes per night on a routine basis. O’Brien has charged into a six-point lead in the A-Class battle over Tracy’s Leivi Osborne. Colin Kirby of Pleasanthill, Cole Frerichs of Wheatland, and Jason Maples of Petaluma round out the top-five. The stock A-Class races for 25-laps on Saturday.

Haven Sherman of Citrus Heights and Maya Mauldin of Rancho Murieta are separated by just nine points in the Restricted championship title fight. The female drivers only have one main event victory between them, however, opening the door for Bryson Sozinho in third to remain within arms length of the points lead himself. Rookies Kevin Tikkanen and Maycie Brooks make up the balance of the top-five ahead of Saturday’s 25-lap jaunt.

Lucas Fenn of Oakley leads Stockton’s Santino Gonella by ten points in the Jr. Sprints action as well with a 20-lap feature this weekend.
