A recent commission to paint a fox or moose for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife resulted in this painting of a red fox standing in a slightly overgrown blueberry field. The inspiration was a red fox we saw regularly in the blueberry fields we pass through on our way to Alamoosook Lake. The original painting is oil on canvas, 16" x 20".
This was used for their 2021 recognition print and thanks to the departments generosity I had 50 of these limited addition prints that I offered through my website. There are a few of these still available.
