Rising Stars Ranch is located in Northeast Oklahoma. We raise registered American Bucking Bulls.

We comepete in competitions with our bucking stock and all of our dogs are raised in the house and on the ranch. Please feel free to contact us to talk about our animals anytime.

It was a great day at the Carsen Perry Memorial event for Rising Stars Ranch and partners. The Cowgirl’s class was tough and Candy Man didn’t pull a check but Arena pulled the trigger on all the youth calves while Spur was playing soccer and went 3 for 3 placing with every calf. What a blessed day it was at an awesome event remembering an amazing Cowboy!

Solid weekend at the Bar O Arena for Rising Stars Ranch and partners. We took 5 head for the double header finale and had a great time at our favorite venue. Our boys had some great outs and we came home with 5 checks out of 8 outs.

Rockin’ P Derby in Tahlequah is in the books. It was a great night close to home to showcase our derby bulls. 3 out of 4 it was their derby debut and two out of the 4 was their first rider trips and their first times bucked since Vegas in November. They weren’t all perfect and clean but we couldn’t be more proud. We can always pick the positives. Bushlight Bubba took the top spot of the set with an 88.4 to split 6-7th in the 36 head derby. Lightnin’ McQueen was .5 point from placing. Llama Drama and Solo Eclipse neither had clean starts but both showed they have the tools to be contenders. We don’t keep many rider bulls and this set has sure been special to us. It’s also cool to mention 3 out of the 4 are embryo calves.

803 Cricket on Crank approved of all his son’s trips this morning. We sure are excited for this trio and of course excited to have Cricket back on the cows in 2027. #28-N #321

Everyone always asked when we will be close to home. This Saturday night is it! August 15th 7:30 P.M. at the new Rockin P Arena in Tahlequah. They have a great BBQ restaurant, covered seating, and a really cool set up. This is a derby and classic event so all rider bulls. I am excited for our line up. It includes:

356 Solo Eclipse - I think I talk about him you know exactly who he is. I ran him through the bucking chutes tonight and he is feeling good and ready to roll.

966 Llama Drama - his name says it all. He has been growing all summer and ready to put his size with all the action he has already showed us.

939 Bushlight Bubba - he has already acquired over $5k in derby earnings this year. He has been entered twice and place both outs. He’s just coming off of clean up crew from the cow pasture.

25L Lightnin’ McQueen - Arena’s 2025 youth calf has been spending all summer growing up. He has some size on him now and we are expecting him to be as electric with a rider as he was with a box.

An update on my 2024 cowgirls calf 206 Gaboon Viper. He is now a 4 year old and our friends at Roughstock Unlimited have been seasoning him with a rider for us. He seems to be getting stronger every out and I can’t wait to watch him keep progressing. Thank you Tee for taking such great care of him and getting rider outs for us. I appreciate you more than you know.

939 Bushlight Bubba is enjoying being on cleanup this year while 966 Llama Drama and 356 Solo Eclipse are living their best life (they got the earlier shifts of breeding season) getting ready to make their derby debuts. All three will get to compete close to home in a couple weeks and we couldn’t be more excited.

Yesterday was a great day for the Rising Stars Ranch. We were able to welcome back home our little electric fireball 803 Cricket on Crank (sired by All Aboard, out of 22 Wolf Girl (Wolfman x Party Girl)). He is a product of our flush program. Our partner Danny Keller and ourselves both bred a select few cows to him before we sold him and after bucking his calves we knew if we ever got the opportunity we wanted him back home. Casey received the phone call yesterday and I didn’t hesitate to make the drive to get him. He is the sire to the ABBI World Finals Yearling Champ -11M Shaboozey. He has also sired a couple yearlings that we have held back for the maiden this year that we feel are pretty special. Big thank you to Mike Johnson for allowing us to buy him back! Welcome home Cricket!
