🤩Join us for our next Darn Knit Anywhere Adventure!
The Stockton family of Twisted Oak Farm and Woolen Mill in Spooner, Wisconsin, will be hosting Wool in the Woods on Saturday, September 19. Hop on the bus with DKA and enjoy this celebration of all things wooly!
The fiber festival will have vendors, demonstrations, mill tours, and a community tent to work on your project with other fiber lovers. Vendors include local artists, farmers, and ten local shepherds with yarn, roving, and fleece from their own flocks of sheep.
There will be more than just shopping. You are welcome to walk the gardens, meet the sheep, and soak up farm life. It will be a fall day to remember.
And if that’s not enough, we will stop in to see our friends at Mayana Chocolate (you know them right?) for a sweet treat after our big day!
The Details:
When: The bus will leave DKA at 8:00am and arrive back at DKA around 4:00pm. Drive time each way is approximately 2 hours. Yay! Time to work on a WIP!
Cost: $70, includes transportation, Darn Knit Anywhere Adventure bag and button, and a sweet treat at the Mayana Chocolate factory store!
Not Included: Lunch is not included, but there will be a food truck and you are welcome to pack your own lunch.
Parking information: Due to the off site, all day nature of the event, our shop parking lot will not be available. We don’t have enough spaces for a busload! Parking is $1 per hour in the Stillwater City Parking lot next to our building.
Other Notes: A couple vendors accept only cash. This is an outdoor event so come prepared for the day’s weather. The bus will need to drop us off at the end of the farm’s driveway so we will walk a little distance to the event.
