😍This is An Italian Bandana by An Italian Knitter.

Beth made this sample using a skein of a new-to-us summer yarn, Berroco Modern Linen.

If you’ve never knit with linen before, it is a unique knitting experience unto itself! The more you work with it, and then the more you wash it, the softer it gets. True blue Mother Nature plant magic in a skein.

Beth used one skein, and continued the repeats to transform it into more of a kerchief/small shawl. One skein gets you a pretty good-sized accessory!

🤩We’re a local landmark:)

Aimee here, I did a little walk to the bank the other day and as I was walking through our historic town, I remembered I hadn’t yet shared a fun new item in the shop!

🎨A local artist, Anthony Nardecchia, has been drawing local Stillwater landmarks for just about 10 years. He creates greeting cards out of the images and sells them around town.

Guess what?! Darn Knit Anyway is now a local landmark! At least according to Anthony:)

😍Anthony donates 100% of the profits to organizations that support children and families. How great is that?

It's World Wide Knit & Crochet in Public Day!

A day to bring our cozy and typically indoor craft outside into the public view, hoping to spark curiosity!

🎬🧶 We took 100 of our fiber friends to the movies this week!

With the lights left on and our WIPs in hand, we settled in to watch the new release, Sheep Detective. 🐑🔍

There was stitching, laughter, a few tears, plenty of progress on projects, and one unexpected side effect: we may never look at clouds the same way again!

As a special bonus, our moviegoers received our newest piece of swag: the Darn Knit Anywhere canvas bag! 👜✨
