We couldn’t be more excited to announce our newest teacher Miss Britt! Welcome to the Expressions family🤩

Britt began dancing at the age of 3 and continued until her Junior year of high school. She trained in all major styles of dance, yet her true love was ballet. Her Junior year she was a Principle dancer in a local ballet company, performed in the Nutcracker with the Moscow Ballet and attended classes at the Joffrey Ballet. Being homeschooled she had time for a heavy class schedule at her local studio as well as teaching young dancers. She started off as an assistant where she learned the skills to run a fun and inspiring class while building a strong foundation of basic skills and movement in her students. Britt eventually became a teacher and even after her years as a dancer returned to teaching young children of all ages. Bringing out the confidence in her students and revealing the joy and freedom of expression dance brings is the basis for every class she teaches. She believes dance can and should be enjoyed by everyone and that the benefits of it will continue well into adult life. After dancing full time for four years, Britt moved onto horseback riding. She attributes her showmanship and equitation skills in the show ring to her foundation in dance and the years spent performing. In 2010 Britt graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage, giving her a deeper understanding of how the body moves and works and she incorporates that knowledge and training into her teaching.

Expressions Performing Arts Center was happy to be a sponsor for The Spongebob Musical! We had choreographers, performers and dancers representing in the show! Couldn’t be more proud of everyone involved! We had so many students/parents come to support! 💛
