Congratulations to rising senior EMILY HOEPPNER ('27, BFA Musical Theatre and BA Dance) on the opening night of a busy summer at the Cedar Summerstock Theatre!

THE HORMEL GIRLS, with Emily cast as Betty, opens tonight and runs through June 28. She has also been cast in two more productions at the same theatre: GREASE (Marty, July 2-12) and SISTER ACT (Sister Lazarus, July 16-26)

Congratulations to IZ WALSH (BFA Musical Theatre '26) on the opening of SHREK:THE MUSICAL at St. Croix Festival Theatre! Iz has been cast as Pinocchio/Ensemble in the production that runs through June 28.

It's a busy summer as Iz has also been cast in THE REVOLUTIONISTS (u/s Charlotte Corday, July 9-26) and THE THREE MUSKETEERS (Constance/Ensemble, August 13-30) also with St. Croix Festival Theatre.

Congratulations to JOANNA LOUIS ('24, Theatre Arts), JASON FASSL ('97 Theatre Arts) and Allison Durst ('22 BFA Acting) on the 2026 Regional Theatre TONY Award received by American Players Theatre in Spring Green, WI!!

“American Players Theatre is a one-of-a-kind institution, delivering world-class theatre presentations to the Midwest for decades, and we are thrilled to recognize the team there with this award,” said Heather Hitchens, President and CEO of the American Theatre Wing and Jason Laks, President of The Broadway League. “By illuminating the shared human experience through timeless classics, they have broadened the theatre-going audience in their community and beyond.”

As part of the entire theatre's team that was honored with the award, Joanna works as Associate Development Director, Allison is a Stitcher in the Costume Shop, and Jason is the Lighting, Scenic and Projections Designer. Congratulations to alum MADELINE MINER ('24, BFA Musical Theatre) as she makes her debut with Disney Live Entertainment- Disney Cruise Line's Wish 9 cast today! The Wish 9 cast features a dynamic ensemble of performers who bring Disney's rotational dining shows and mainstage spectaculars to life.

She's been cast as a Mainstage Performer telling Elsa's story and will be aboard the Disney Wish through December 14.

Congratulations to rising senior AMELIA GIBBONS ('27, BFA Musical Theatre) on the opening night of a busy summer at the American Gothic Performing Arts Festival!

WEST SIDE STORY IN CONCERT, with Amelia in the ensemble, opens tonight, with one more performance on June 7th. GREASE THE MUSICAL, in which she has been cast as Jan, opens June 25 and runs for 3 days, ending on June 27.
