Tonight at First Friday, we will be giving out retro paper fans to all our visitors in celebration of America’s 250th birthday. Steubenville, it’s going to be a hot one this weekend! Grab your best shade parasol, your most festive red, white and blue attire, a personal fan and come on down to celebrate America’s 250th birthday with us! Festivities kick off tonight at 6, with patriotic music from our local children’s choir at 6:30, pregnant pie competition winner announced at 7, food, drinks, crafts for kids, water balloons, Gaga ball, and much more. Stay cool today! See you downtown. 🇺🇸

Today the streets are swimming with giant Catfish! Be sure to visit downtown Steubenville this summer to see our collection of 15 giant catfish painted by local artists. They’ll be on display until September 1, 2026!

Incidentally, today is also International Joke Day (and the exact halfway point of the year) so let’s take a moment to appreciate the Meowter Space Catfish painted by Alysia Basluke!
