Last Saturday Sterling High School won 1st play in Drama and 2nd place in Group Interpretation. Before heading to the IHSA State Tournament, a public performance will be held. Here are the details:

Wednesday 5:30pm
Centennial Auditorium
Contest Play - The Mercy Seat
Group Interpretation - Peter and the Starcatcher

(Please note: Once the play has begun, doors will be locked and no entry is allowed until the end of the play performance. Doors will reopen at 6:10. Group Interpretation will begin approximately 6:30pm)

The story follows young dreamer Orpheus as he travels to the underworld (Hadestown) to rescue his love, Eurydice, who was lured there by Hades. The plot weaves in the failing marriage of King Hades and Lady Persephone.
