So very sad.😪. I love his work. His photography was beyond beautiful, as were his many deeds caring for the earth. May he RIP 🙏. Truly a Salt of the Earth...
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sebastiao Salgado.
Sebastiao was much more than one of the greatest photographers of our time. Along with his life partner, Lelia, he sewed hope where there was devastation and brought to life the belief that environmental restoration is also a profound act of love for humanity. His lens revealed the world and its contradictions.; his life demonstrated the power of transformative action through extraordinary photography and environmental action.
A kind, soft spoken man and friend of ours; we are shocked and deeply saddened. He will be remembered forever.
