I hand make flutes which are similar to the ones originally traditionally made by Native American flute makers. However, I am not Native American and not a member of any tribe. I have made flutes for 17 years and have continued improving sound and quality to produce musical instruments which can be enjoyed for years to come. The flutes are usually tuned to the pentatonic minor scale which is a standard for this style of flute. I also have other tunings and double flutes which harmonize as you play them. I do some hybrid styles which combine the sound mechanism of a Native American flute with the tunings and design of flutes like the kaval or Koncovka overtone flute. I have a nice meditation tuning as well. I also can make these flutes in the diatonic (do, ray, me...) tuning for playing hymns.
I pray that the flutes will be a blessing to the user and listeners and will ultimately bring glory to God as in Psalms 150:4 “Praise Him with tambourine and dance; praise Him with flute and strings.” and in Psalms 150:6 “ Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!”
