I first met Critter (Chris Eldridge) when Bob and Terry Riley hauled me off to Nashville one February to work as doormen for a Bill Startz' production featuring Critter and two other master guitarist, Andy Falco and Josh Williams. That week was pivotal for Chris, as he was just leaving the Infamous Stringdusters and going to join the Punch Brothers. Andy was taking the guitar position with the Dusters, and Josh I believe was one of the Rage, with Rhonda Vincent.

Well, it's about time I dusted off this page and put it to good use.

It was started quite some time ago as a promotional tool for music at Peaceful Bend Vineyard. Not long after it was created, things started deteriorating in my personal life, and 'most everything was put on hold. Toss in a catastrophic fire that destroyed the actual barrel door, and a few more years flitted by. Three years later now, and the new building is pretty much completed and we're chomping at the bit to get things back into full swing.

We have quite a few events already planned, and then quite a few more in the works. Please feel free to share posts/events, and join in on comments or share your own picture(s) of events at Peaceful Bend or anything related. We're really looking forward to the upcoming season, and hope you'll join us in the fun! -Clyde Gill

Just a quick welcome, as I have just "invited" quite a few FB friends here to this page.

After some trials and investigations, we have decided to switch from using a personal account for Barrel Door, and instead created this official business account. Here you will find all the latest news, updates, and shared photos from Barrel Door events.

A little update on our progress: we've been sidetracked a bit with some family issues. This has only put a bit (more) delay to our work, and we expect to soon be able to put our major focus back into Barrel Door. We are setting up office space and continue to upgrade the property to allow us to comfortably and safely conduct various events at Peaceful Bend Winery.

So we ask you to "like" this page, be sure to follow if you want to get updates in your feed, and most of all 'SHARE' and share alike, as we could really use your help in spreading the word about the upcoming events from Barrel Door Productions! -cg
