Since the fall of 2024, Mattie Silks () has brought the finest funk to eager heads across Colorado. Formed by Colin Boyle (bass, guitar, vox) as a house band for a monthly funk jam, the project grew to incorporate Adam Stone (Lead Guitar), Carly Stone (Bass, guitar, vox, et al), Jake Smylie (drums), Joel Ackerman (keys) and Tim Schuett (Tenor sax). Featuring soulful instrumentals from groups like Grant Green and The Meters, to the soulful lyrics of Bill Withers and Curtis Mayfield, Mattie Silks is eager to funk up the groove in a saloon near you. Bring your dancing shoes.
