Had so much fun exploring some designs with some Moroccan silk knots that I have had in my stash for years!
The teal earrings on the left, “Worldwide Swing” on the left incorporates Golden Hills turquoise from Kazakhstan with Sterling silver and rose gold and have a slightly sassy swing .
The golden-hued earrings are my light summer series with the beautiful intricate knots and 14 k accents with Swarovski crystals.

Pine Moon Fine Art Gallery is happy to announce the latest guest artist to our creative fold. Suzi Mitchell, a Scottish native who has called the Yampa Valley home for the last 25 years. Her work is an emotive representation of moments spent within landscapes from around the globe. Using a blend of acrylics and pastels, every piece is a mixture of moody and vibrant depictions.

Suzi is also a writer and the founder of You Out Loud, a transformative arts program to support mental wellbeing for youth in Routt County. When not writing or painting, she leads women on mindful forest art sessions she calls Wild and Wondrous.

Her work is available at Pine Moon from June 1 to December 31, 2026.

In this upcoming exhibition, artists Sandi Poltorak and Jill Leeson incorporate written narratives to guide viewers through the symbolic framework of their work.

This is a different approach for both of them and Jill is quoted in the article published titled ‘Nature, Morality and the Wild Instincts Between Them’ saying “Usually we fit the concept of the piece into the title and let the rest be up to interpretation of the viewer. This is kind of the first time we’re telling the story behind the painting.”
