The completion of Renewal 2023 marks our 7th festival event as the creative coordination team for Bonfire Entertainment. After three months of planning, ordering, and creating, we again had the privilege of joining the best ops team in the country for build week. It's such a magical adventure working with them and learning from them. The open-heartedness, skill, and sheer hustle they bring to their work is beyond impressive and we adore you all. That goes for the entire Bonfire team. What a badass group of people.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the ops team for your drive and expertise. And a huge thank you to Bonfire Entertainment for another incredible opportunity.

Congratulations to every member of the Bonfire team on hosting a truly special event beneath those special mountains. Our hearts are bursting with gratitude.

Our 3-month winter build season is complete and it's time to update you all on what we've been up to!

This year, the mascot for WinterWonderGrass 2023 was an osprey, a bird that mates for life. It was chosen as a symbol of the festival's ongoing commitment to its relationship with the community of Steamboat. Ever undaunted by a challenge, we decided to fly a soft-sculpture osprey with a 12-foot wingspan, in wild color, over the coffee bar against a background of fabrics that brought the color and feel of a sunburst to warm the space.

We also decided to level up the cozy vibes in the coffee bar and VIP with our hand-made, rusted lanterns, and custom, eco-friendly, faux-fur pelts for the seating.

In addition, we tackled rolling out our new site-wide linen service. Planning for, delivering, collecting, laundering, and packing hundreds of linens for two festivals was quite the task! We learned a lot and creating a new in-house service for the WWG company was very satisfying.

The osprey historically has also been a symbol of vision and abundance. We felt immersed in both during this process and feel so much gratitude that the WWG team continues to let us play and bring our vision and creative abundance to such a special event. We are honored to take part.

Thank you Scotty, Mike, the incredible OPs crew, the rock-star bar staff, and the entire Winterwondergrass Festival team. You all never fail to make us feel supported and part of the family. We love you!

We are excited to officially announce the Whirlwind West Designs Etsy shop!

Tracy has always had a passion for glass and a vintage aesthetic. Now after years of developing the technique and searching for the right textiles, her “Set in Glass” line brings those passions together. She takes beautiful pieces of vintage and modern lace and vintage handkerchiefs and sets them in patterned and beveled glass creating one-of-a-kind treasures that come to life when hung in light and shadow. These make unique gifts for weddings, anniversaries, or any occasion. We also have up her gorgeous dimensional glass snowflakes in sets and singles. And there's much more to come!

After many months of careful planning, creative design for Renewal 2022 is in the books! We again are coming away feeling immense gratitude for the opportunity to go on another magical adventure with Bonfire Entertainment and the Billy Strings crew. It was a knock-out show and it’s such a privilege to have taken part and to work with so many salt-of-the-earth, talented people. A big thank you to the Bonfire Entertainment crew for their unwavering support in getting our work in the venue and looking good! You all hold a special place in our hearts.

If you are in or near Allentown, NJ tomorrow May 1st, come see me and Denise of Vintage America at the Spring Stroll! We will have a booth on the street and Denise's shop upstairs is full of treasures including her sought-after snowmen, my vintage lace in glass, and a brand new stock of vintage silverware chimes. WinterWonderGrass Festival has come roaring back in 2022, and I am thrilled to be working with this insanely talented group of people. What an incredible weekend we had in Steamboat! Behind the scenes of the fresh and fantastical yellow roses for Billy Strings "Renewal."

When I was approached by Bonfire Entertainment to create four 10' yellow roses, along with bringing in and arranging over 450 fresh yellow roses to the Strings launch event, I was thrilled. How do you make a 10' yellow rose? I didn't know, but I had a blast figuring it out. Here is a look at that month long process.

A huge thank you to Scott Stoughton, Mike Welle, and the entire Bonfire Entertainment/ WinterWonderGrass Festival family as well as the Billy Strings team for the incredible opportunity to bring the beauty of yellow roses, fresh and larger-than-life to your special event.
