Some more snippets of music from The GREG MOODY QUARTET at Jazz in the Park Concert Series Thursday evening. Despite the drizzly weather it was a beautiful evening of music, with some of the audience coming up on the bandstand to stay dry while others opted to sit under the shelter of the big trees with their umbrellas, & some just listened from their cars. Concert was enjoyed by all. We appreciate everyone that came out, rain or shine! ☺️🎶

Cozy up on the Bandstand when it started to drizzle light rain & folks moved their chairs up on the stage to stay dry.. enjoying the music up close with the band, even some dancing going on.. intimate open air club atmosphere. GREG MOODY QUARTET performing an original composition by Greg Moody called ‘The First Step’. 🎶

GREG MOODY QUARTET at Jazz in the Park Concert Series. Despite a little drizzly rain the concert went on with a beautiful evening of music.. some folks came up on the bandstand to enjoy & stay dry. The bandstand shell is a large space, esp with the band pushed all the way back. Fun, interactive, original music, tunes we recognize, & tunes with new unique interesting arrangements. Had some dancing going on too ! Fun night!

The GREG MOODY QUARTET performing their own arrangement of the Simon & Garfunkel tune ‘Sounds of Silence’. The quartet interacted musically together , with each musician playing their own interpretation of the melody with this improvisation performance. Enjoyed being up on the stage with the band on this lovely rainy evening at Jazz in the Park Concert Series. 🎶

GREG MOODY QUARTET performing ‘Wichita Lineman’ at Jazz in the Park Concert Series Thursday evening. Despite the drizzly weather we created a cozy atmosphere up on the stage setting the band up at the back of the bandstand, inviting any audience members up on the stage if they would like. Nice atmosphere & everyone stayed dry. We still had the 50/50 raffle with those folks sitting out under the trees (it was just a light drizzle) & those onstage.
Concerts always go on rain or shine.
Beautiful evening of music. 🎶

GREG MOODY QUARTET performing at Jazz in the Park Concert Series. This is a beautiful original composition by Greg Moody called ‘Holly Marie’ that he dedicated to his wife Holly tonight on the 24th anniversary of their first date 🫶🎶
