Annual summer concert series that runs July to first week of September.. FREE ! ..since 1988 Free & open to the public.. held rain or shine. Concessions are available. Some bench seating in front of the bandstand, lawn chairs or blankets recommended so you can stretch out & relax in this beautiful park venue

Found this very first Jazz in the Park poster from our first season of creating the Jazz in the Park Concert Series way back in the summer of 1988.. (don’t remember who ended up being the ‘to be announced’ band for Sept. 1 ?).. a grass roots operation from the start which has now been going on for 38 years!! 🎶

Another great season of Jazz in the Park coming up this summer starting Thursday July 9.. The 2026 posters will be coming soon!.. stay posted!

Happy Memorial Day weekend!.. usually this weekend is the unofficial kick off to summer.. and soon the 38th season of Jazz in the Park Concert Series will start up this summer on Thursday evenings from 7-9 pm at the Gypsy Hill Park Bandstand in Staunton Va., running weekly July 9 through Sept. 3. Great line up of music! Please share this rack card schedule for this 2026 Jazz in the Park season - mark your calendars for Thursday evenings this summer..
