This one is truly the end of an era. Featuring one of the very last “Blue Denim” Bearclaw Sitka Spruce tops we’ll ever build with, this wood supply is completely exhausted. Chances are we’ll never have the opportunity to use it again. Paired with stunning Sinker Mahogany back and sides, this guitar is a true one-of-one that simply can’t be replicated. It was a fun ride while it lasted!

Custom Meridian DC
Finished in a gorgeous sunburst and loaded with Lindy Fralin Modern PAF humbuckers, this Meridian DC has tone for days. With clean standard appointments and a voice that’s equally at home with any style this one is ready to be played.

Custom OM-C
Western Red Cedar over East Indian Rosewood creates a warm, expressive fingerstyle machine with a classic James Taylor-inspired character. Cedar responds effortlessly to a light touch, while the rosewood adds rich overtones and balance across the entire tonal spectrum. It’s smooth, dynamic, and fun to play!

Our friends at Eddie’s Guitars (Eddie's Guitars) have done it again. They love our OM’s and we’re sure this one will fit right in.

Starting with the stunning Dark Forest Century Cypress top that has been underwater for decades giving the old growth both visual and sonic qualities you can’t replicate any other way. Tone that is warm and woody but has a bit of bite when you want more. Paired with an equally stunning Cocobolo back/sides you get that nice trajection from the dense hardwood and brightness that isn’t too glassy. We love this combo and think you will too.
Subtly finished with details such as hot hide glue bracing, koa bindings all around, Abalone backstrip and rosette and a pyramid bridge this guitar stands out from the crowd with just the raw beauty of the woods and appointments.

This year marked our first time sponsoring FloydFest (FloydFest), and we couldn’t be more grateful for the experience.
From the moment we arrived, the FloydFest team welcomed us with incredible kindness, respect, and hospitality. It’s something that means more now than ever. The warmth, joy, and genuine sense of community we experienced over five days won’t soon be forgotten, and we’re already looking forward to many more years together.
We somehow managed to make it through the week without a single team photo, mostly because we were all scattered across the festival talking with so many wonderful people and catching all the music. It was a great reminder that every now and then it’s good to step out of the shop and experience the other side of music—the people who gather around it.
One thing that really stood out to us was the care put into every detail of FloydFest. You can feel it everywhere. It resonates deeply with what we believe at Huss & Dalton. The little things matter. Whether people consciously notice them or not, it’s those thoughtful details that create something lasting.
So thank you, FloydFest. And thank you to everyone who stopped us because you recognized an H&D shirt or hat, picked up a guitar raffle ticket, shared a story, or simply introduced yourself. Those conversations were the highlight of our week. To top it off the raffle proceeds are helping the next generation of musicians and that’s a cause we support wholeheartedly!
If you’re new here because of FloydFest, welcome. We’re glad you found us. And if you’ve been following us for a while, put FloydFest on your radar. It’s a truly special place.
When we gave away the guitar from the main stage, I said a few words about treating the people around us with kindness. We meant every word. We try to live that out not only in our business, but in our lives.
The world can feel heavy sometimes. Weeks like this are a reminder that the human spirit is far more resilient than we often give it credit for. Let’s carry that kindness and sense of community with us until we meet again.

A beautiful T-OO14 Custom headed for Guitar Tex (Guitar Tex) in San Antonio.

Bearclaw Lutz Spruce tops are always interesting, and this one is full of beautiful grain coloration and natural bearclaw figure. It’s paired with an exceptional set of Claro Walnut back and sides that is even prettier in person! Of course, we always love how Walnut sounds and are excited that this tonewood is being requested more and more.

Finished with dark tortoise binding, nickel Waverly tuners and as always, completely handcrafted in Staunton, Virginia.
