Exciting to hear Dr. Torian White’s vision for the future of Bulloch County Schools and his focus on clarity, capacity and community. A great read about the priorities shaping the school system moving forward!

Bulloch County Schools Superintendent Dr. Torian White is focusing his early work in the district on three objectives: clarity, capacity and community. White explained how those priorities are shaping his approach to district leadership during the Kiwanis Club of Statesboro’s Aug. 20 meeting.

The Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair Parade is coming October 19th and registration is now open! This year’s theme, Stars, Stripes & Carnival Lights, is all about celebrating the United States of America's 250th Birthday with creativity and red, white & blue spirit!

Little coats can make a big difference. 💙💛

The Kiwanis Club of Statesboro is collecting new or gently worn children's coats for our Coats for Kids Drive, and our greatest need is for coats for TODDLERS and YOUNG CHILDREN. If you're cleaning out closets or shopping for the season, please consider donating. We also welcome coats for school age children and teens.

Donated coats will be distributed in October through Safe Haven, The Mission, the Teal House, and local foster care agencies. We will also host a public distribution day so families in need can receive a warm coat this winter.

Drop off your donations at any of these locations:

Several members of the Kiwanis Club of Statesboro recently attended the 2026 Kiwanis International Convention in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. During the convention, they participated in leadership workshops, connected with fellow Kiwanians from around the world, explored new ideas for community service, and celebrated outstanding Signature Projects that are making a difference globally.

Beyond the educational sessions, they experienced the vibrant culture and warm hospitality of the Philippines while building friendships with members from the Kiwanis Asia Pacific region. It was an inspiring reminder that Kiwanis is more than a local club. It is a global organization united by a shared commitment to serving children and strengthening communities around the world.
