Pride partying pause 1 more time before the weekend:

​Today marks 10 years without 49 of our siblings, mostly PoC and trans individuals, who were taken from our community at Pulse Nightclub.
​Over the last few weeks, we’ve posted a lot about the history of the flag, what it means to many, and the absolute necessity of centering our most marginalized community members. Pulse is a devastating reminder of why that work is so urgent.
A reminder that we all just wanted a safe space to dance and just be. A place to be loved and seen.
​Pride was born out of a need to create space when none existed, and it continues today as a radical act of survival. Our stages and our events are sanctuaries for more than just our entertainers. When we show up, when we center BIPOC and trans voices, and when we refuse to be pushed to the margins, we are honoring the foundation laid before us by so many.
​To our PoC and trans community: Your joy is resistance. Your visibility is a cause for celebration. You will always find safety, community, and unconditional love at our events.
​We will continue to dance today for the 49. Say their names.
