Okay, so this definitely wasn’t a planned shoot — I was just messing around with my new lens and somehow convinced my roommate to let me point it at her for a bit. We headed up to the rooftop, no real setup, no fancy lighting — just her, a hoodie, and some overcast sky.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. I was mostly just curious to see what this lens could do. But wow… this thing is a beast. The sharpness, the colors, the way it picks up texture — I’m seriously impressed.

So here’s a few of my favorite shots from the afternoon — shoutout to my roommate for being a trooper and killing it in front of the camera & braving the chilly rooftop with me.

I normally don’t shoot cities or landscapes, but my new lens was seriously begging to be tested out — so I gave in and took it on a little adventure around Pittsburgh this morning. Hit Mount Washington for the views, then made my way to the Color Park for all the vibes.

It’s not my usual style, but it felt good to step outside the norm and play around with something different. What do yinz think 🤔 😉
