Today I got to teach a class to a group of other moms and we made bears.😍 I was a little less organized than I wanted to be, but it was fun.😄 Life has been busy, and I haven’t taken time to craft in forever. It was really nice to get to take time to create again.

I’m heading to a women’s ornament exchange this weekend.😄

I’m pretty pleased with how this came together. I found the little sleigh at the Dollar Tree, removed the fake greenery, glued cotton on the inside, glued down a mini tree, and added this bear I made.

I also found this cute little box that looks like a mini book.🥰

I’ve only ever made one other elephant years ago, and I didn’t particularly like it, so this was a challenge. Idea needs some work, but it was fun to make. 😋

We went to Kid’s Day in downtown State College Pennsylvania. I got this cute little dragon from Kenna’s Clay Corner’s booth.

My 4 year old asked what I was going to make. I told her I was going to make a bird, but I wasn’t sure if I could because I’d never made this kind before.

She balled her hands into fists and said, “You can do it!”

Me: “But I’m not sure if I can.”

Daughter, *pumping fist* : “You can do it! … I could help you?” *holds fist out for fist bump* “Team work!!”

There was no teamwork, but I appreciated her encouragement. 😋❤️

2014 to 2022

It’s fun to see how my abilities and style have grown over the years. There is still so much I want to perfect and learn. It can be disappointing/frustrating when my vision doesn’t match up to what I can actually create. But don’t all artists feel that sometimes? 😜

I’m grateful to everyone who has encouraged me and purchased my work- especially when I first started out, and those who continue to support my little hobby.❤️

Here’s to continuing to try new things, learning from less ideal projects, and having fun along the way.
