Centre Dance is a diversified studio catering to each level, which are separated according to interest, age and commitment. We at Centre Dance believe in the recreational as well as the serious dancer. In the nine months of our season, we focus on basic dance technique, with an emphasis on individual correction, the development of refined motor skills and performance qualities. We are proud to off

er a diverse range of classes taught by a young and exciting faculty who is always learning the newest styles and techniques emerging in the dance world. We offer ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, and acrobatics to ages 2+. We put on a winter and spring performance each year. Our competitive group, AVID Dance Productions, competes throughout Pennsylvania as well as many other areas of the country.

Worldwide Su***de Prevention Day is coming up on September 10, and tickets for An Evening of Hope, Healing, and Remembrance are now available.

Through art, live music, storytelling, dance, and other forms of creative expression, this evening is designed to create public awareness, educate the community, remember those we have lost, give hope to survivors of su***de loss, and end the silence around su***de.

The evening will begin with a free meal, catered by SCASD’s Culinary Arts Program, led by Chef Zach Lorber. Evelyn Wald will host the candle lighting ceremony.
