We felt HELPLESS, while dealing with Immigration😰...⠀

Jonathan and I met in 2017 in grad school and fell in love🥰. ⠀
After a year, we realized that we want to spend our life together👰🏽🤵🏼. ⠀

We knew we wanted to get married, but since I wasn’t a citizen, things were going to be complicated🥴.... ⠀
⠀
We did get married and filed our green card application. But, we went through a year of hopelessly waiting for the green card interview. 🕕⠀

We were scared about getting deported and had separation anxiety😰. ⠀
⠀
After a year of uncertainly and powerlessness, we finally PASSED OUR INTERVIEW!!! ⠀
Our green card arrived within a week💘💃🏽🕺🏼. ⠀
⠀
My experience with immigration won’t end for 3-5 years. But, my husband is worth all the hassle and troubles😘🥰.⠀

There was a little girl who loved to create art,⠀
In her play time, she would paint and craft.👩🏽🎨⠀

She would watch the TV to see the Sculptors make their art,⠀

She would see people around her do proper jobs to pay bills,⠀

She always got good grades and grew up to receive degrees,⠀
But she was confused, wondering if this is what she wanted her life to be🧐⠀

Now, she is giving herself another chance to pursue her dreams,⠀
She found herself again, wishing for the life she always wanted to be in😇⠀
