Brisket is a beautifully made and shapey sorrel crossbred gelding! He stands 14.3H tall, and is happy to navigate obstacles, enjoys trail riding, and has the temperament that makes him suitable for amateur riders! Whether your preference is English or Western, Brisket is happy to go either direction and looks fantastic doing both! Under saddle, Brisket is a true kick ride with three comfortable, slow gaits and a very dependable stop! He lopes nice circles, rides around willingly, has a pretty good neck rein, and works well off your legs! Brisket is a versatile gelding that can wear many hats!! Crossbred geldings like him are some of the hottest horses on the market today, and for good reason. They combine the substance, disposition, and durability of a draft horse with the athleticism and versatility riders are looking for, and brisket is proof of that formula! On the ground, he is kind and extremely easy to be around. He stands like a statue be groomed, bathed, saddled, unsaddled, mounted and dismounted from. And is nothing less than perfect for the vet and the farrier!! Brisket is currently barefoot and wears a couple brands including the actual Yellowstone Ranch brand! In the arena, he has a lovely walk and jog, along with a lope that is absolutely a pleasure to ride!! He looks just as natural going English as he does Western. He lopes nice circles, rides around willingly, has a great stop, a solid neck rein, and works well off your legs! He is responsive without being overcomplicated and has the kind of foundation that allows him to step into many different jobs with ease. The spotted one stands 34” while the grey stands 28” both would make a wonderful pet, a fantastic companion for other animals, or a charming addition to any small farm.
