In was a night full of hard fought poker by tough grizzled veterans of the game, with me there to make up the numbers. Gloria the state tournament assassin took a cold blooded 1st place with Arlene taking down 2nd (it’s always the quiet ones). Congratulations to Mike with 3rd spot on his 1st night with us, Sharon rocked 4th with ninja like skills and Gary H sliced and diced his way to 5th. Great night 16 total players and fun all the way.

It was a weird night of poker for everyone at the greatest little poker league in all the land. Graeme the heart and soul of the whole game wasn’t playing, all our players put on a brave face and carried on bravely. Sharon was bravest of all and took 1st place and Shannon with tears in her eyes and an aching heart took 2nd. Ed buried his emotions and took 3rd, Sylvia didn’t give a crap and took 4th with a big smile on her face. Don’t worry everyone Graeme will be playing next week so chin up and wipe those tears.

1st month in the books.

On a night where we welcomed back old friends, the cards where historic. It was one small step for man one giant leap for Aaron Boyer taking 1st. Ed Emilson asked not what he could do for points but what the points could do for him, taking 2nd on the night and top spot for the month. Elvis Blesi had a dream but didn’t get there with them taking 3rd, he had a dream today.

When the room went dark it was RC’s time to shine, he’s not that bright but there was enough light to see him take 1st. Shannon Badger carried the torch for 2nd and Sylvia Davis electrified her chances for regions taking home the 3rd spot. A really fun night we should play in the dark more often.

2nd night of the best poker league in the country was as Twisted as the bar that we call home!! (Double E),Ed Emilson took the 1st place honors. (S Dizzle) Sylvia Davis with a well earned 2nd spot and (Lil Visi) Elvis Blesi owned 3rd like a boss. Great night, great people and greater than great Twisted Sisters ❤️
