Let me introduce to you the Lincoln County Fair, Inc. We are a non-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving and promoting agriculture and old fashion family traditions. We are planned and conducted according to the Kentucky Department of Agriculture regulations for the use of state funds. We are also very proud to work with the Kentucky Association of Fa

irs & Horse Shows. We have 22 Directors and Representatives and over 200 volunteers. We strive to be the best County Fair we can be by providing many family oriented activities and events. We value community pride, unselfish service, and fairness in all of our dealings. We are very proud of our grounds, our fair, and other events we have throughout the year. We are committed to use every means in our power to entertain our fair attendee with the hope that you feel you have attended the greatest County Fair ever. With that being said I would like to take this opportunity to invite you and your family to try and join us for good family fun, entertainment, and food. Over the next few weeks, we’re excited to introduce the incredible directors and volunteers who help make the Lincoln County Fair possible each and every year🎡

From early mornings and late nights to planning events, organizing exhibits, supporting youth, and keeping fair traditions alive — these dedicated individuals work year-round to bring our community together.

Meet Katie Phillips — Floral Hall Director for the Lincoln County Fair 🌸👏

This is Katie’s first year serving on the Fair Board and as a director, but she’s no stranger to the fair, having volunteered in the concession stands for years (while being lovingly bossed around by Penny! 😆).

One of her favorite fair memories is enjoying the fireworks while eating a funnel cake, and she’s especially excited to see the fireworks return this year! 🎆🎡

When it comes to fair food, her favorite is chili cheese nachos 🧀

Over the next few weeks, we’re excited to introduce the incredible directors and volunteers who help make the Lincoln County Fair possible each and every year🎡

From early mornings and late nights to planning events, organizing exhibits, supporting youth, and keeping fair traditions alive — these dedicated individuals work year-round to bring our community together.

Meet Marty Owens — Director of Buildings & Grounds for the Lincoln County Fair 🎡

Marty has been a member of the Fair Board for 25 years and has served as a director for 16 years, helping maintain and improve the fairgrounds for generations of fairgoers.

His favorite part of the fair is simply seeing all the kids having fun and making memories throughout fair week 🎡

And when it comes to fair food, you can always find Marty enjoying a funnel cake! 🍰

Meet Ronnie Cooper — Past President of the Lincoln County Fair 🎡

Ronnie has been involved with the Fair Board for approximately 24 years, helping make the fair a special tradition for our community.

His favorite part of the fair is seeing the smiles on kids’ faces as they enjoy all the fun and excitement that fair week brings 🎡

When it comes to fair treats, his favorites are caramel apples and cotton candy 🍎🍭

From early mornings and late nights to planning events, organizing exhibits, supporting youth, and keeping fair traditions alive — these dedicated individuals work year-round to bring our community together.

Meet Justin Poynter — Treasurer of the Lincoln County Fair 🎡

Justin has been a part of the Fair Board for 26 years and has served as a director for 15 years. Throughout his time with the fair, he has held several leadership roles, including Director of Special Attractions and Director of Motorsports, before stepping into his current role as Treasurer.

When asked about his favorite fair memory, Justin jokingly says, “Every Saturday when it’s over!” 😄

His favorite fair treat is Aunt Thelma’s Frozen Lemonade 🍋🎡
