We have re-designed our format from being an in-person event activity, to creating captivating and simple drawing videos for kids ages 3 to 8 on our Youtube channel at www.kidsdrawfree.com. Each drawing video follows the same format and is presented by our colorful cast of Lil' Canvas Kids characters. Videos are between 4 and 12 minutes each. DRAWING VIDEO DESCRIPTION
1. Each video begins w
ith a presentation of the final art of the item they will draw.
2. Kids are coached to spell the item they will draw, P-I-G, F-L-O-W-E-R, etc.
3. Kids get short, simple instructions of what to draw in the next segment, then kids draw along with the character with soft soothing music between instructions... until picture is finished! Nowadays, parents and caregivers have more to do with less time to get it done, these easy and fun videos will provide hours of entertainment, while giving you more time to get things done or simply more alone time. Encourage kids to draw and tell you about their art, as this dialog will help build their self-confidence. Also if space permits, ask them to display their art, as this will fill them with pride and builds their self-esteem. The more kids draw, the better their skills will get. Also, kids art makes for great gifts, and it's sure to spark meaningful and memorable moments with your little Picasso's. When kids are young, drawing has less to do with art, and more about inspiring self-expression, which in turn helps build their self-confidence, and many other important life skills.
