A tear doesn’t have to be the end of a painting’s story.
This original painting came to us with a tear in the canvas. After carefully restoring the damaged area, we turned our attention to how the piece should be presented.
We selected a soft, understated frame with a whitish fillet that gently highlights the snowy tones and creates definition around the artwork without competing with it.
The result feels fresh, balanced, and true to the character of the painting.
