The Loft Artists Association (LAA) is excited to announce the upcoming Annual Juried Exhibition, titled The Rhythms of Summer. This year’s exhibition features artworks that focus on summer, and the rhythm and flow it brings each year. It inspires its own genre and repertoire. This exhibit encouraged artists to consider the concepts of rhythm, shape, texture, and color as they relate to the experience of summer. Shaping a summer, summer textures, the colors of summer, changes in pace are throughout the accepted works.

The Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 27 4pm-6pm and is free and open to the public. We are also grateful to our guest juror, Natsuki Takauji, a Japanese native artist and educator based in NYC. Her work centers on themes of identity, sexuality, social phenomena, and trauma, which are underlined by her research on Japanese history, culture, and philosophy.

The exhibition dates are June 27-August 2, 2026 and it features a broad range of 2D and 3D work. The gallery is open Saturdays and Sundays 1pm-4pm, and by appointment.
